I was trying to eat healthier. I was going to the gym. I was doing “ everything right.” But the scale barely moved. My clothes didn’t fit the way I wanted them to.

And worse… I started blaming myself.

I felt like I was failing— not just physically, but emotionally. Because I was putting in all this effort… and getting nothing back.

But the truth was, my body wasn’t broken. It was just trying to protect me. From the years of under-eating. From the stress I never dealt with. From the pressure to be perfect.

And once I understood how to actually read the signals my metabolism was sending me?

Everything changed.

I stopped punishing my body and started working with it. I got stronger. Leaner. Happier.
